Jerome's story
Jerome is 37 years old and lives in south province, ruhango district and mbuye sector. He is a youth who still live at his house with his parents. He is a youth who wants to increase his development as youth through agriculture of cassava,.
Previously he took a loan to purchase a bike for transportation and he receive deposit from it. and he paid well.
Now he is now engaged in cassava farming to establish and expand cassava farming to increase food production and generate income through cassava sales. He has a hectare of land to cultivate means he is going to harvest more.
His objectives are: to increase household income, to contribute to food security in the community, to create employment during planting and harvesting seasons.
This project will help him to gain income through cassava and also processed product as he live near the factory : KINAZI CASSAVA PLANT.
The loan will be repaid using income generated from cassava sales after harvest and he has another source of income from transport.
