A loan of $1,325 helps to purchase a motorcycle to improve his transportation for selling his lemons.

Orlando's story
Orlando is a senior farmer from Garzón, Huila, with 50 years of experience in agricultural work. He owns a one-hectare plot of land where he has planted more than 500 lemon trees. He cares for them consistently by cleaning, fertilizing, and managing the crop, allowing him to maintain stable production. His crops yield more than 30 sacks of lemons per month, which he sells directly, transporting them in an old wheelbarrow that limits his reach and requires significant daily effort.
Orlando lives with his wife and one of his four children in a house they built together. His children are independent adults and maintain constant family support.
A loan of $4,769,153 COP will allow Orlando to purchase a motorcycle that will optimize his transportation for selling his lemon production. This investment will facilitate the transport of the sacks, reduce time and physical effort, expand his sales coverage, and increase his income by reaching more customers more quickly.
