Amigas Unidas Group's story
The communal bank called "Amigas Unidas" is part of the Fundación Paraguaya programme for women entrepreneurs. It comprises a group of hardworking and responsible friends and neighbours seeking to improve their lives through a collective effort, solidarity and access to financial opportunities.
Carolina is one of the members, she makes a living selling fruit and vegetables, she also grows soya beans. She will use the loan that she has received to buy supplies to build up her agricultural and commercial activities. This will allow her to expand her production, increase her income and fund her business.
