Asia's story
Asia is a hardworking, 40-year-old woman. She has been working as a tailor for the past 10 years. She provides stitching services for women and children in her community and is well-regarded for her skills. Her tailoring work provides her with a stable income. The earnings help her to cover household expenses, pay for her children’s education, and improve her family’s livelihood.
With the help of additional financing from CEIP, Asia will purchase more cloth, threads, and other tailoring materials. This will enable her to better meet customer’s demand and she can expand her business smoothly.
Your support will also help her to purchase more sewing machines so she can train other girls in her trade. This will allow her to increase production, serve more customers, and build a brighter future for her family by creating employment opportunities for her neighbours.
