A loan of $550 helps to buy more clothes for sale.

Iram

Iram's story

Iram, a determined 40-year-old mother of five, runs a small clothing business from home to support her family. She buys clothes from the local market and sells them within her neighborhood. Initially, limited funds prevented her from purchasing enough stock to meet customer demand.

With the support of a CEIP microfinance loan, Iram was able to buy a wider variety of clothes, attract more customers, and increase her sales. Today, she confidently contributes to household expenses and supports her children’s education. Her journey demonstrates how micro-finance empowers women, strengthens businesses, and improves family livelihoods.
