A loan of $550 helps to buy clothes threads and tailoring material.

Zarina's story
Zarina, a 37-year-old mother of three, has long supported her family through a home-based stitching business. Limited financial resources had previously restricted her ability to purchase quality fabrics and essential tools, slowing the growth of her business and limiting her income.
With the assistance of a CEIP microfinance loan, Zarina was able to invest in better materials and equipment, enabling her to take on more orders and improve the quality of her work. As her business flourished, Zarina’s income increased, allowing her to manage household expenses more effectively and provide better educational opportunities for her children.
Beyond financial gains, the confidence and independence she gained through this support have empowered her to plan for a more secure future. Her journey demonstrates how microfinance can play a transformative role in empowering women, fostering self-reliance, and strengthening family livelihoods.
