Sajida's story

Sajida, a 30-year-old mother of two, has been supporting her family through a home-based stitching business. In the past, limited financial resources made it difficult for her to purchase quality fabrics and essential tools, slowing the growth of her business. With the support of a CEIP microfinance loan, Sajida is now able to invest in better materials and equipment, allowing her to take on more orders and improve the quality of her work. As her income increases, she is gaining greater control over household expenses and is better able to support her children’s education. Sajida’s journey illustrates how microfinance can empower women, enhance livelihoods, and create opportunities for sustainable family development.
