Farhat
A loan of $550 helps to buy clothes threads and tailoring material.

Farhat's story
Farhat is a skilled 38-year-old woman and mother of four children who supports her family by running a clothes-stitching business. In the beginning, she faced financial difficulties as she did not have enough resources to buy sewing materials or manage her household needs. With the help of a microfinance loan from CEIP, Farhat was able to purchase fabric, threads and improve her sewing setup, which allowed her to take more orders and deliver quality work. As a result, her income increased, enabling her to manage household expenses and support her children’s education. One day, Farhat will be empowered and independent, proving how microfinance can transform the lives of women by giving them the means to grow their small businesses and secure a better future for their families.
