Daibatou Group's story

This group was created in 2008 and is made up of 15 members who all live in the same community. The group members maintain very good relationships.

Madame Fatoumata, standing with raised hand on the right side of the photo, is the group's representative. She is 60 years old, married and the mother of five children, including two daughters. Like most of the group members, Fatoumata sells vegetables and palm oil. She has more than 11 years of experience in this line of business.

Fatoumata will use her profits to increase her savings, strengthen her business, and pay for part of her children's school fees.
