Fred's story

Fred is a 46-year-old married father of six, and all of his children are currently in school. He lives with his family in Kichompyo village. Fred is a committed farmer who mainly grows sugarcane, which serves as his primary source of income.

Despite his dedication to farming, Fred is currently facing a challenge of inadequate capital, which has made it difficult for him to effectively manage and expand his sugarcane plantation. He needs financial support to purchase fertilizers, manure, and to cover weeding expenses as well as labor costs. These inputs are essential for improving the health of his plantation and increasing his harvest.

In addition to sugarcane farming, Fred also grows maize, which provides him with supplementary income to support his household needs.

To address his capital gap and boost productivity, Fred is requesting financial support. With this funding, he hopes to improve his farm yields, increase his income, and better support his family’s welfare and education needs.
