George is a 51-year-old Ugandan who hails from Kyenjojo, Uganda. He is a coffee farmer who is married with six children aged between 25 and 16 years. He lives in a semi-permanent house. He faces a problem of pests and diseases – and expensive pesticides. George has been in this business for 20 years. He began by planting coffee on a small scale – working around one acre. From that he accumulated capital to start a local brew business. In the future, he wants to sell better coffee and have a good nursery bed.
George wants a loan to buy manure and spray his coffee plantation.
