Amani-Sadani Group's story
This group consists of 6 members who share a strong bond of solidarity and mutual support. They are all living in the same district. They joined Victoria Finance PLC in 2024 and since then have proved to form a strong partnership. Their main activity is maize farming
The first member from the right hand side of the photo is Witness, who is the treasurer of the group. She is a 28 year-old woman and blessed with 1 child. She joined Victoria Finance in 2024 to benefit from an agriculture loan. She has been practicing maize farming for over 10 years and she is witnessing the positive impact that agriculture has brought to her life. She grows maize on 15 acres at Sadani farms.
She is seeking a loan from KIVA to buy fertilizers, pesticides and other farming inputs and hopes this will increase her maize productivity thus increasing her income. Since the loan is intended to be invested in his maize farming project expansion, she will use the increase in generated income to better provide for her family's basic needs, health insurance, and school fees. She is grateful to KIVA and lenders and promises to repay the loan on time.
