Sewekhaye Group's story

The group is part of the Banc Villageois which was inaugurated on May 29th, 2013. It is composed of 10 dynamic women who live in the same village and surrounding areas. Their main activity is trading, and they support each other.

Mrs. Astou, a mother of five school-aged children (four boys and one girl), is involved in the sale of baobab fruit juice. She is the group's representative on the right of the photo with her hand raised.

With her loan, she will buy 10 bags of baobab fruit. With her 20 years of experience, she has acquired effective sales skills which allow her to sell all her merchandise without difficulty.

With her profits she will increase her savings at the Banc Villageois.
