Birkama Group's story
Created in December 2011, this group is composed of courageous women living in the same village. They maintain good social relationships. Their main activity is small-scale retail sales.
Standing on the right in the photo, 45-year-old Fatou is an experienced business woman. She works in the clothing sector. Fatou is married with four children in addition to three other children in her care.
With her new loan, she plans to buy women's, men's, and children's clothing, as well as shoes and handbags.
