Yarang 1 Group's story
Created in March 2010, this group is made up of hard-working women who live in the same village and have a good social relationship. Their main activity is trading on a small scale. Standing on the right of the photo with her hand raised, Adama is the group representative.
Adama, 55 years old, is active in selling cashew nuts which she processes into a finished product and re-sells. She is married and the mother of 6 children, 3 of whom are girls.
With this loan, she plans to buy cashew nuts and packaging for them. The profits she makes will go towards strengthening her savings and her activity.
