Phoolmati, a 41-year-old married woman from Cooch Behar, West Bengal, lives with a family of three. Her husband cultivates paddy, mustard, jute, and vegetables on their farmland, earning a modest income by selling the produce in local markets. However, their current earnings are not enough to ensure long-term financial stability for their family.

To improve their livelihood, Phoolmati and her husband have decided to expand into large scale cultivation of paddy, mustard, jute, and vegetables. To support this plan, Phoolmati, along with her friends are seeking a group loan of INR 190,000 from WeGrow, a lending partner of Milaap. The funds will be used to purchase seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential farm inputs.
