Peter's story

Peter is 33 years old, married, and supports four family members. He has three children under the age of 18 years. His wife, Faith, is a farmer and helps support the family by providing additional income.

Peter has been running a posho mill business for more than ten years while also selling cereals. He earns an average income of KES. 20,000 monthly. He has applied for his fifth loan of KES. 100,000 from Vision Fund Kenya, a Kiva lending partner,  with all the previous loans paid successfully. He will use the loan to purchase cereals for sale.

The anticipated profits from his business will be used to repay the loan. He hopes and dreams of providing a good education to his children and prospering in his business
