Varduhi lives in Yerevan with her husband and two school-aged daughters. She graduated from teacher-training college and worked at a school for about 10 years. Seven years ago, she rented a shop where she creates flower arrangements and wedding baskets, and also sells wedding accessories. Thanks to a previous Kiva loan, Varduhi was also able to start renting evening dresses. Now she is applying for a new loan for $3,000 to buy new items to sell to her customers, including a perfumery.
