Diacounda Group's story
This group was created in April 2008 by women of the village who share the same values of solidarity. They are active in retail sales. Paulette, with her hand raised, is the group representative. 55 years old, she is married and the mother of five children. She also has two other dependent children. With her new loan, she plans to buy peanuts which she will turn into paste as well as some vegetables for resale. Her profits will be used to buy some animals and to take care of her personal needs and of her family.
