Maleme Niani 2 Group

This group, made up of eleven members who all live in the same village, was created in 2012. All these members have very strong relationships. Ms. Fatoumata, standing on the right side of the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is thirty-two years old, married, and the mother of two daughters. Ms. Fatoumata, like most of the group's members, dedicates herself to selling food products. She boasts over ten years of experience in this industry. She stocks up in the surrounding villages, to resell at the bigger markets. She will use her profits to build up her savings and pay for part of her children's schooling.
