Maleme Niani 2 Group's story
This group was created in 2012. This group is made up of twelve members who all live in the same village. All members have very strong relationships. Ms. Yassine, standing on the right side of the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is twenty-seven years old and married.
Ms. Yassine, like most of the members, dedicates herself to running a small business. She sells fruit curd, ice cream, and also raises sheep. Her clientele is made up of members of the village. She will use her profits to build up her savings and her business, but also to pay for part of her children's schooling.
