Bahinizi's story
Bahinizi is a refugee from Congo and has stayed for 8 years in the Nakivale settlement camp, which is in the Isingiro district of Uganda. She is 47 years old and married, with five children who are all in school. She is a businesswoman who sells cabbage. Her main income is from her cabbage business.
Bahinizi is a new client of EBO SACCO who applied for a business loan to buy more cabbage. This is in order to increase cabbage sales as well as profits. This way, she will be able to pay her children’s school fees fully and also provide for all of the basic needs of her family. She wishes to have and improved standards of living as well as serve all her customers.
