Naumi's story
Naumi is a 39-year-old married woman supporting four family members. Her husband also contributes to the family and supports her business. She has three children, ages 17, 15 and 5. She's operated a retail shop and a posho mill a decade, earning an average KES 100,000 monthly.
This is her first loan from VisionFund Kenya, which she plans to use to purchase retail shop supplies and maize for milling and sale. The anticipated profits will be used to repay the loan and pay school fees. Naumi hopes to improve her family’s living standards.
