Josephine is married with three children, and all go to school. She doesn't take care of additional family members. She operates a beauty salon and works six days a week. She has been in business for the last seven years. She operates on a retail basis only. Josephine has requested a loan of 400,000 UGX from MCDT SACCO to buy more braids, cream relaxers and oils. Her major business challenges are seasonality and the ever-increasing prices of creams and braids. She resides in a rented house where her family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees.
