Elle a fait ses études jusqu’en 10e année des études secondaires. Elle est mariée à Jean de Dieu, lui-même commerçant. Ils ont ensemble 1enfants de 2ans 6 mois.

Elle obtient le crédit Kiva de 500,000francs burundais qui lui permet d’augmenter son capital pour acheter de grandes quantités de sel de cuisine à revendre afin de réaliser de grands bénéfices.
