Việt's story

Mrs. Việt is 57 years old, married, and has three grown children. She and her husband live in a rural area of Thanh Hoa province.

Her husband works as a construction worker, but his income is unstable and depends on the availability of work.

For the past five years, Mrs. Việt has supported her family by running a small fruit stall, earning just over USD 200 per month.

Mrs. Việt buys fruit from wholesalers and central markets and sells it locally to people in her community. Although her business provides a steady source of income, limited capital prevents her from expanding.

She is now applying for her ninth loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase a wider range of fruits, including mangoes, dragon fruit, oranges, pomelos, and apples.

By diversifying her products, Mrs. Việt hopes to attract more customers, increase daily sales, and improve her family’s income.

This loan will help her strengthen her small business and build greater financial security for her household.
