Jesame's story
Jesame is 32 years old and resides in the province of Iloilo. She and her partner in life earn their livelihood through fishing. In addition, Jesame also sells fish in the market.
Currently she is seeking a loan of PHP 40, 000 through Kiva’s lending partner CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. The loan will be used to buy more fish from other fishermen. In this way she will be able to increase her sales and generate more income for her family.
Jereza aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, aiming for an improved standard of living.
