A loan of $1,925 helps to purchase an additional dairy cow that strengthens the milk production of his farm.

Silvio's story
Silvio is a cattle farmer from Cumbal, Nariño, with 22 years of experience. He owns a one-hectare farm where he cares for a herd of 13 dairy cows that feed on fresh pasture from his farm and forage. Thanks to this optimal feeding, his cattle produce around 100 liters of milk daily, which he sells and distributes to a local cheese factory with which he has a fixed contract.
Silvio lives with his wife in a house built in the middle of his land. He has three minor children who live in nearby communities.
A loan of 7,029,071 COP helps Silvio purchase an additional dairy cow. This investment allows him to increase milk production, improve income stability, and strengthen the continuity of his livestock activity within his community.
