Adama's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 40 year old Adma from the Torkpoi Branch. She is a married business woman with seven children between the age of 18 and 38 years old. Three are currently attending school. She started this business to take care of her family.
Adama runs a retail business and sells palm oil to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past 10 years ago. Adama says that her challenge is the increase in cost of goods and commodities in the country.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more palm oil to increase her business. Adama says that the extra income from this lone will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
