Hawanatu's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 29-year-old Hawanatu from Lunsar Branch. She is married with a 4-month-old child and started this business four year ago to generate income for her family.
Hawanatu sells clothing to her customers in nearby communities. She says her challenge is the increase in the cost of goods and transportation.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more clothing to increase her business. Hawanatu says the extra income will help take care of her family's financial needs.
In the future she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
