Mwero is a married man with nine children; one still attends school while eight are adults. He owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. His greatest monthly expense is food for family.
For over ten years, he has operated a cow and goat selling business, selling at the market to his neighbours and passersby. He faces a major challenge of seasonality. During the dry season he buys cattle at higher prices then sells at a lower price.
With the Kshs 80,000 he wants to purchase three cows and seven goats for resale. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.
