Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 32-year-old Tigidankay from Torkpoi Branch. She is a married businesswoman with three children between the ages of 3 months and 13 years old. Two are currently attending school. She started her business to take care of her family.
Tigidankay runs a retail business and sells cooking items to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past 4 years. Tigidankay says that her challenge is the increase in price of raw fish by cartons.
She has requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cooking items like raw fish to increase her business. Tigidankay says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
