Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 37-year-old Subie from Torkpoi Branch. She is a married businesswoman with three children between the ages of 4 and 16 years old. All are currently attending school. Subie runs a retail business selling fast food to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past 10 years. She started her business to take care of her family. Subie says that her challenge is the increase in the cost of goods and commodities in the country.
Subie requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more food stuffs like cooking items of onion, palm oil, rice etc. to increase her business. Subie says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a larger scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
