Kasifa is a single mother of five children and all her children go to school. She takes care of additional family members.
Kasifa owns a retail shop at Busega. She has been in business for four years and sells to all categories of people both retail and wholesale. Kasifa has requested a loan of 1,100,000 from Kiva partner MCDT SACCO to buy more stock for her shop. Kasifa lives in a home that she rents and her family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expense includes rent, school fees, and feeding the family.
