Simon is a married man with two children who are still too young for school. He owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. His greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
He has operated a water supply business, selling in a shop and from door to door. His potential customers are neighbours. Simon faces a major challenge of seasonality. During the rainy season, the demand is low compared to the dry hot season where the demand is higher. He dreams of purchasing a motorcycle in the future.
With the Kshs 80,000, he wants to purchase a motorcycle for transportation to start another business. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.
