Julieta's story
Julieta is 48 years old and married. She and her family reside in the province of Southern Leyte. To earn an income, she grows and sells vegetables. She has been in this business for 11 years. Meanwhile, her husband works as a vendor to support the family.
Now she asks for a loan of PHP 70,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan to buy seeds and fertilizer.
Julieta wants to improve this business in the future and become successful.
