Yuderka's story
Yuderka is from the Dominican Republic. She is 39 years old and single. She is an enterprising and hardworking woman who studied up to high school.
She has been in business for approximately 27 years. Currently she has her own beauty salon, offering a complete range of services and products, from elaborate hairstyles and braids to haircuts, dyes and hair treatments, thus satisfying the beauty needs of her community. She runs the business in a space in her house.
With this loan, Yuderka plans take a leap into the barbershop business. Her objective is to invest in quality supplies and equipment: shampoos, conditioners, dyes, straighteners, treatment products and all the necessary equipment. This will permit her to expand her inventory, diversify the services she offers, serve a larger clientele, and ultimately, to increase the profitability of her business.
