Ivy's story
Ivy is 35 years old and a widow. She lives in the province of Cebu, where she runs a food stall selling assorted fruits and vegetables to earn an income. She has been in this business for four years.
Currently, she is requesting a PHP 70,000 loan through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan as additional capital to buy more fruits and vegetables.
Through this loan, Ivy hopes to improve her business and secure a better livelihood.
