A loan of $1,000 helps to buy corn to make tortillas, and a new stove with a grill to renew her work equipment.

Ana Elizabeth

Ana Elizabeth's story

Ana is single and lives with two dependent daughters, ages 16 and 14.  She has no relatives living abroad.

Since 2020 Ana has been selling tortillas which she learned to do on her own.  Her working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Ana is applying for a loan to strengthen her business.  She will use it to buy corn for tortilla production, and a new stove with a grill to renew her work equipment.  This way she can reduce purchasing costs and increase her profit margin.  The risk involved in the investment would be if she were not to invest in her business.

Her goals are to grow her business and earn a better income to cover family needs.
