A loan of $775 helps to buy assorted groceries.

Mira's story
Mira resides in the province of Southern Leyte. She is 46 years old and single. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells basic commodities. She has been managing this business for three years.
Currently, Mira is requesting a loan of PHP 45,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan as additional capital to buy assorted groceries to sell in her store.
Mira dreams of further improving her business in the future to achieve a better standard of living.
