Karen Jhaneth

Karen Jhaneth's story

Karen is single and lives with her two dependent daughters who are 12 and 13. She does not have family abroad. Karen earns a income by selling tortillas, which she started with the aims of earning to support her family. She learnt this trade a long time ago and has been working for the past 5 years. She attends to her business Monday to Saturday from 7am until midday. She does not have employees.

She requests this loan to be able to strengthen her business. Karen will invest in the purchase of more corn, propanol gas etc to be able to have sufficient supplies to produce the tortillas and thus cover the demand of her clientele. Karen hopes that with this loan her income and sales will rise. The risk of this loan is that in the area there is competition, therefore, her sales can vary.

Her aspiration is to grow her business and have economic stability for her family's needs.
