Celeste's story
Celeste resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 48 years old and married. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for eleven years. Currently, Celeste is seeking a loan of 40,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to purchase an engine and plywood.
Celeste aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living.
