Thea, 31, resides in Kampong Chnang province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. Thea is employed at the factory, earning an income of 3 USD per day to help cover the family expenses. The family is also assisted by her husband who is a farmer, earning an income of 2 USD per day. Each month, the family has to spend 50 USD on food and 15 USD on the other necessary expenses. Thea is requesting a loan of 400 USD to purchase a mechanical plow to help plow the rice field. This will be her third loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
