Lina's story
Lina is 46 years old and married. She lives in the province of Southern Leyte, where she runs a fish selling business to earn an income. She has been engaged in this livelihood for many years.
Currently she is requesting a loan of PHP 30,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan as additional capital to buy more fish to sell.
Lina hopes that this loan will help her improve her business and strengthen her source of income.
