Cherrel's story
Cherrel is 45 years old and married. She lives in the province of Leyte, where she runs a food stall, selling assorted fruits and vegetables to get an income. She has been in this business for 12 years.
Currently, she asks for a loan of PHP 40,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan to pay for labor costs.
Through this loan, Cherrel will probably improve her business for a living.
