Ruel's story
Ruel lives in the province of Davao del Sur. He is 51 years old and has one dependent. To earn a living, he works as a tricycle driver—a livelihood he has pursued for the past 21 years.
Currently, he is requesting a loan of PHP 40,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI-Philippines. He will use the loan for the maintenance of his tricycle by purchasing spare parts.
Ruel aspires to strengthen and sustain his livelihood in the future, with the goal of providing a better standard of living for his family.
