A loan of $1,600 helps to buy women's clothing to achieve a high sales volume and increase her income.

Martha Alexandra's story
Martha, 43, is married and has children. She lives in Atacames, a tourist, commercial, farming city like San Vicente and Olón, in northern Ecuador.
Martha is a very hardworking woman who is always thinking of ways to improve her financial situation. Two years ago she began a clothing business so she could contribute to the household economy. It gives her more financial stability so she can provide her children with a better lifestyle. They are, of course, her greatest motivation. Martha believes customer service is very important for entrepreneurs.
She is applying for a loan in the amount of $1,600 to buy merchandise such as shorts, dresses and blouses so her business will have greater stability and earn more income.
Martha is very grateful to Kiva and very excited about this loan. She wants to live up to the institution's expectations since they are lending financial support.
