The Lannaya solidarity group has been created on May 27, 2007. It is composed of 16 women living in the same village. Their main business acvitiviy is retail.

Marieto, standing on the right in the photo, is the grop’s leader. She is 45 years old. She is married and the mother of 10.

She sells peanuts (ground nuts) and seeds at the weekly market of their village, something she has been doing for years.

This loan will allow her to buy a sufficient quality of produce now to resell it at a good price later during the winter season, when gains in value.

With the income from this business, she would like to grow her savings and improve the life conditions of her children (schooling, health and hygiene, food).

Le groupe de solidarité Lannaya a été crée le 27 Mai 2007. Il est composé de 16 femmes toutes habitant la même localité. Leur activité principale est le petit commerce.

Debout à droite de la photo, Marietou est la responsable du groupe. Elle âgée de 45 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 10 enfants.

Elle vend des arachides en graines au niveau du marché hebdomadaire de leur localité, activité qu'elle a mené depuis plusieurs années.

Ce prêt lui permettra de s'approvisionner en quantité suffisante en cette période et de revendre à un bon prix pendant l'hivernage où la matière sera prisée.

Avec les recettes générées, elle compte renforcer son épargne, et améliorer les conditions de vie de sa progéniture (dans les domaines: scolarité, sanitaire, alimentaire)
