Najma's story
Najma is a hardworking woman of 47 years and mother of 4 children who supports her family by running a grocery shop. In the beginning, she faced financial difficulties, as she did not have enough resources to buy grocery items and manage her household needs.
With the help of a microfinance loan from CEIP, Najma will be purchasing sugar, flour, and other grocery items to improve her grocery setup, which will allow her to improve her daily sales. As a result, her income will be increased, and she will be able to manage household expenses and support her children’s education.
One day, Najma will be empowered and independent, proving how microfinance can transform the lives of women by giving them the means to grow their small businesses and secure a better future for their families.
