Angelita's story
Angelita lives in the province of Davao del Sur. She is 56 years old and married. She buys and sells frozen foods to earn an income. She has been in this business for five years.
Angelita is now asking for a loan of 35,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan for additional capital to buy more frozen foods to sell.
She wants to augment this livelihood in the future for a better means of living.
